With the weekend quickly approaching, Augustin Champion, the Education and Outreach Sergeant with University of Nebraska Lincoln Police Department, shared a few tips when it comes to going out. Champion shared that partygoers should have a plan when they go out and tell someone outside of the group what that plan is. Among other helpful tidbits, Champion noted to designate a sober driver, eat a heavy meal beforehand and stay hydrated.

Although it isn't for everyone, long distance relationships can be beneficial for strengthening the bond between partners. Long distance can allow both partners to be independent as they grow on their own while still supporting each other. This will also let the couple learn how to effectively communicate and cherish the time they do get to spend with each other. Dating long distance can be difficult but can also be well worth the effort.

In the week six Big Ten men's basketball power rankings, Purdue retains its top spot after overcoming challenges in close games against Rutgers and Northwestern. Wisconsin stands strong at second place, securing a commanding win over Michigan State, while Illinois rebounds with two victories after a setback against Northwestern. Nebraska faces a crucial stretch against top teams, and Michigan State relies on metrics for a tournament spot.
