After taking a look at other students' screens during class, opinion writer Kennedy Lawrence realized just how much individuals multitask during class. Although many students may think multitasking can help them get ahead on work, it wastes time for them to switch their focus to a new task. Rather than trying to do everything all at once, Lawrence suggests taking one thing at a time to boost success.

UNL a capella group Pitch Please has made the list on “BOCA 2024: Best of College A Cappella,” a curated compilation of songs performed by collegiate-level a cappella groups across the country. The group's rendition of "Don't Lose Sight," originally performed by Lawrence, was featured on the list. "Don't Lose Sight" is featured on Pitch Please's August 2023 EP, "how it goes." Having their song make BOCA's list gave the group motivation and showed others their true potential.

Last year's donations to Glow Big Red has been surpassed by $169,795 for a total of $823,041 and 5,551 gifts to different organizations across UNL. These gifts are in the form of donations and go to different colleges, scholarships for students, student organizations and many other programs across the university. More than 115 student organizations registered to participate in Glow Big Red, and the College of Business brought in the most donations, totalling $131,065 from 385 donors.

Nebraska finished the weekend with three straight wins on Saturday and Sunday at the Troy Cox Classic in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Huskers first beat Montana and then Sacramento State, defeating them 5-4. Nebraska finished the day with 15 hits, compared to Sacramento State’s five. The Huskers now hold a 6-3 record after taking four of five games this weekend. They will look to continue their hot offense next Friday, Feb. 23 against San Diego State in Cathedral City, California.
