Anyone who has tried visiting East Campus has run into the big red fences blocking spaces off. Although the blocked-off areas may seem like a nuisance, it is actually the final step in a 10-year revitalization project. The mall, soon to be known as Legacy Plaza Meadow, will provide more resources and amenities for staff and students and draw the public into campus. This new outdoor space will include walking paths that connect all of the main buildings on campus, plenty of outdoor seating and terrace space outside the east union and many other new and exciting renovations.

Love is everywhere we look. From popular songs on the radio to rom-coms constantly hitting movie theaters, love is hard to avoid. Opinion writer Kennedy Lawrence believes that although romantic and platonic love is important and fulfilling, self love should be everyone's main focus. Fully accepting and loving yourself for who you are can help you improve mental health, maintain healthy relationships, take risks and increase your overall value of yourself.

There are several student-led bands here on campus, but the question remains: Which one is the best? Culture reporter Alex Gryczanowski ranks five of her favorite local student bands, including Estrogen Project, Parking Lot Party, Blind Searcher, Hold Your Breath and Loose Change. Check out the full story on our website to see where each band falls.
