What the shuck is happening?
Senior textiles, merchandising and fashion design student Joelle Tangen is pursuing fashion to influence the industry's tendency to pollute. For her senior design project, she's crafting sustainable drag attire.
University of Nebraska-Lincoln leaders are currently reviewing all previously approved events to make sure they align with the current Phase 3.1 implemented by Nebraska's Department of Health and Human Services. A subcommittee of Chancellor Green's COVID-19 Taskforce is reviewing 75 upcoming events that were approved under Phase 4 to verify that they still meet the criteria of the current phase.
UNL freshman Hafsa Haji spent her life moving from place to place as a refugee from the Somalian civil war, and now is a member of the Army ROTC looking forward to a career in the military. Haji said she faced discrimination and hate due to her background and religion, but did not let that get in the way of pursuing her dream career.
