The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s dining halls have signs indicating gluten-free, GMO-free, vegetarian, vegan and other dietary restrictions - now, foods permissible for Muslims will be marked by a black circle with “Halal” written in Arabic and frozen halal meals will be offered in preparation for Ramadan.
