Former UNL gymnast Sierra Hassel nominated for Big Ten’s NCAA Women of the Year

The NCAA Woman of the Year award to the nation’s top senior female student-athlete that exceeds in academics, athletics, service and leadership. 

As for academics, service and leadership, Hassel earned numerous awards from both UNL and the Big Ten, earning her a nomination for NCAA Woman of the Year.

Students respond to UNL's COVID-19 policies

In light of the coronavirus and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s response to it, The Daily Nebraskan asked students their thoughts on UNL’s actions to keep students safe.

In order to comply with local and university policies, the Lied Center will feature socially-distanced seating, increased disinfecting and require face coverings to be worn while inside any part of the building, including the theater.
