Nominations open for UNL's first D&I awards
What the shuck is happening?
This will be first year that the Office of Diversity and Inclusion presents Nebraska Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards to students, faculty and staff that exemplify UNL's diversity values. The awards will be presented April 13, but nominations in all categories are open now.
Sophomore forward Isabelle Bourne, honorable mention all Big Ten player, suffered an ankle injury with the season fully underway, stealing from her a valuable chunk of an incredible year. Now back up to full speed, she is ready to make her mark on the Big Ten tournament.
In the music video for "Talking Through Teeth," each band member plays their parts alone in different Omaha locations. When paired with footage from the Omaha protests last summer, the video is a disjointed mixture of people. The band's music, on the other hand, aims to bring people together — even if that means making friends with a band in England.
