What the shuck is happening?

Usually, a band records an album to appease an established audience who wants to listen to its music more. This was not the case for the Omaha band Cat Piss. The noisy rock ‘n’ roll trio recorded its debut EP, “Led Zeppelin Four Pt. 2,” to book gigs because explaining their sound was too much work. Now, in a time where no gigs are being booked, they’ve decided to release “Led Zeppelin Four Pt. 2” on Halloween.

The first ever Nightmare on East Campus event, hosted by Campus NightLife, will be held Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Nebraska East Union. Activities will include bowling, glow golf, pumpkin painting and an Instagram costume competition where the winner will walk away with a 40-inch TV. Workers will be hard at work to ensure proper social distancing and safety regulations are in place during the in-person event.

The University of Nebraska College of Law joined the Legal Education Police Practices Consortium to address legal issues in policing and public safety. They will be working with experts from other U.S. law schools and the American Bar Association to examine these issues.
