What the shuck is happening?
The 90-year-old billionaire philanthropist and staunch supporter of the NU system, Walter Scott Jr. died on Sept. 25.
Nebraska's swim and dive program has had its fair share of international athletes, but this year's team boasts a new bit of international flair. Reporter Thomas Codo profiles freshman swimmer Ilaria Murzilli, Nebraska's first-ever Italian swimmer, exploring her time at Nebraska and the path taken from Italy to the heart of the Midwest.
Film critic Evan Dondlinger says "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" fell flat when it came to new characters and plot points. He comments, "For an October line-up that’s stacked with highly anticipated film releases, this is such a dull way to kick off the month."
"The governor is not pro-life; if he was, he would oppose the death penalty. Instead, he is one of its most enthusiastic cheerleaders. Pete Ricketts is in fact pro-death. He could have simply accepted that he no longer held absolute power over the life and death of those on death row, but instead he decided to pour time and money into dragging Nebraska backwards in history."
