The Huskers Vote Coalition is working to help students register to vote and learn more about the election process. The coalition will host voter registration drives on Oct. 14, 15 and 16. According to Cameron Collier, a junior political science major and committee chair of the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska's Government Liaison Committee, each vote makes a difference.

Dr. Heather Eberspacher, medical director of the University Health Center, compared the flu and the coronavirus, looking at how they spread, their symptoms and their long-term effects. She also emphasized the importance of getting the flu shot to keep immune systems strong against potential COVID-19 infection.

The new film "Yellow Rose" captures the heartbreak and hope of one undocumented immigrant living in Texas. Rose, a Filipina teen whose mother has just been deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, turns to writing and performing country music as her escape. Reporter Kyle Kruse calls the film "incredibly timely and emotionally complex."
