As the heat rises, so does UNL crime

Possession of marijuana and alcohol, an unsolved case of serial prank calling and an unsolved hit-and-run are just some of the cases the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Department logged in the eleventh week of the spring semester.

As the weather warms up, UNLPD Sergeant Chadd Stutheit says that thefts and other outdoor crimes tend to increase.
