Jordan Smith of Steady Wells set up in a half-built house to perform a soft, acoustic version of his song "Hurts" for a Love Drunk live session, released March 12 on YouTube. Smith, who is also the lead singer of Omaha band Twinsmith, created Steady Wells as an outlet for his folky, Americana songwriting.
In the first month of mandatory random mitigation COVID-19 testing, the university's weekly positivity rate has remained consistently below 1%. COVID editor Zach Wendling breaks down what the data means and speaks with Deb Fiddelke, UNL's chief communication and marketing officer, to hear UNL's reflection on the testing, which will continue through the semester.
Redshirt sophomore forward Ashley Scoggin has had a winding road to Nebraska. From her senior year to now she suffered two ACL tears, one in each knee, and a season cancellation on account of a pandemic.
