UNL needs more options for reporting problematic professors

Last semester, Anna Synya had a professor who continually toed the line of appropriate things to say. When they finally crossed it, Synya was disappointed by the lack of options available to for her to respond with. Daily Nebraskan reporter Alexia Woodall explored another unique major on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. For this next installment, Woodall ventured to East Campus to learn more about the fisheries and wildlife major.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced on Feb. 1 that they are increasing the minimum stipend for graduate students for the 2023-24 academic year. Even with the stipend increase, UNL’s minimum stipend will be lower compared to other Big Ten schools — although the average graduate stipend is higher.
