Batool Ibrahim has advocated for marginalized voices since high school. Since then, she has become involved in using her voice at UNL, including becoming president of the Black Student Union and an ASUN senator. For her work in these positions and more, she received an honorable mention at the MLK Commemorative Celebration in January.
