What the shuck is happening?

Odochi Akwani, a senior journalism and advertising and public relations double major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is engaging young voters through the NE Young Voters campaign. Akwani said she and her team used social media to encourage Gen Z voters to vote.

Jeannette Jones, an associate professor of history and ethnic studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, began incorporating The 1619 Project into some of her classes. President Trump has been vocally against The 1619 Project, calling it a “crusade against American history” and “toxic propaganda.”

Club membership, writing skills, a professional network and a whole lot of school spirit: These are just a few traits you'll need to snag a homecoming crown. Although the process has been mainly virtual this year, UNL's homecoming royalty nominees are working for the chance to represent their school.
