Does UNLPD have a public intoxication policy?๐Ÿš”

What the shuck is happening?

As part of our initiative called Curious Cornhuskers, an anonymous reader asked The Daily Nebraskan, โ€œHow do people get away with public intoxication near campus? Does UNLPD have an agreement with UNL?โ€

As more COVID-19 variants are identified in the United States, UNL is partnering with the Nebraska Public Health Laboratory to sequence positive saliva samples to test for virus mutations. While viral mutations are common, some are concerning because they lead to more severe symptoms or a higher transmissibility. Read what these variants mean and what would lead to a change in UNL's response efforts.

In the second part of a series highlighting the coronavirus's impact on academics, Academic Planning Committee members Kurt Geisinger and Ann Tschetter talk about pandemic-related budget cuts and how tightened budgets will affect academics moving forward.

After 13 episodes, itโ€™s about time the Star City Culture Committee learned how to host a podcast. On this weekโ€™s episode, co-hosts Mark Champion and Jenna Thompson tap into the full potential of their voices with Ann Marie Pollard, assistant professor of practice at UNLโ€™s Johnny Carson School of Theatre & Film. Pollard teaches UNL students about movement, dialect, acting, voice and more, all while teaching lawyers, teachers and any other interested parties at voicerealized.com.
