Yesterday afternoon, Horticulture Club sold the gift of green - succulents, that is - at booths in the Nebraska and Nebraska East Unions. Even in the heart of winter, the Horticulture Club’s handiwork displayed shades of green, yellow and red.

Two federal bills have been introduced this legislative session to support a minimum teacher salary of $60,000. Though he originally was unsure of the idea, columnist Brian Beach thinks the minimum would support public education in America in an important way.
